Yep, Freshney is the bible for cell culture!!!
But, honestly, if you are not planning on working with cells "forever" you don't need to buy an expensive book. Either get theFreshney from the library or use online resources.

Ian R Freshney 1994 "Cell Culture" is the best one that i know of.

by the way back to ur question i found Freshney book in the liberary its a great one in cell culture but if u are going to be specialized in it only but if not u can try to search the net for cell culture links and i have some links that revised ian Freshney book in short of course
