Id like to culture some neurons with different media for the soma and the axon terminals. Ive already tried some plastic chambers attached to the bottom of the dishes with silicon, but with very poor results (either media leaks or neurons cannot pass the barrier). Does anyone out there has any idea/experience to help me solve this technical problem?

I know there r commercially available chambers where one could culture the soma separately from axons, so that they can b bathed in dif. media.

I am sorry I dont know the name, ask around someone might know it.
