I am going to select stable transfectants with geneticin G418.
Before I am going to make a killing curve with un-transfected cells.
I wonder which is the appropriate incubation time with G418 to assess viabiliy?

I'm working on that and have been suggested that a period of 2 to 3 weeks will suffice. Can see the difference after 48 hours and still counting.

Growth medium should be replenished every 3 to 4 days (with appropriate geneticin conc. including a negative control).
