Making a 80% ethanol/ 20% glacial acetic acid solution - (May/03/2006 )

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone could tell me how I would go about making a 80% ethanol / 20% glacial acetic acid solution. Because making them both separately and adding them together would not give the correct concentration, would it?

80 mL ethanol + 20 mL acetic acid

actually, to be precise, 80ml of 100%ethanol and add 20ml of a solution of glacial acetic acid

Don't tell me you would use >99.9% GC standard!
