hi, i have to answer this question; and after that writte about it can someone help me answer this? 
if blood is alkaline:
1  more hydrogen ions sodium and bicabonate ions are excreted
2  less hydrogen ions are excreted and bicarbonate ions are reabsorbed
3  less hydrogen ions are excreted and bicarbonate ions are not reabsorbed 
4  the kidneys reabsorb increased amounts of water
5  the diet must be low in necessary acids

do you understand alkalinity?  this will help you come to a conclusion
