G418 concentration - G418 concentration (Oct/31/2005 )

sad.gif
Hi everyone
Recently, I do eGFP transfection to human MSC (by lipofectamine) and select stable clone by G418 resistance.
But, I got some trouble about G418 concentration.
Does someone tell me the optimal concentration for selection?

The optimal G418 concentrations differs per cell line, so you will have to determine this. Usually it will be between 200 and 800 microgram/ml.

hi
most selection procedures occurs at 400µg/ml

It depends on the cell type. usually in mammals, 300-500µg/ml is good
