nylon membranes bleaching - (Apr/17/2009 )

Does anyone knows how to get rid of color sample on nylon membranes. I am working with dig-riboprobe hybridization and my samples do have some color that does not come out at the end of the technique. It makes it confusing when you have to interpretate the results. Any sugestion will help. Thanks.

what is the source of the color?

can you decolorize the sample before you run it?

I am working with viroids, dsRNA extrations from trees leaves, I am not sure wich is the nature of the color, but this kind of extrations aren´t too clean.
I didn´t try decolorizing first.
