After Co Ip can Iuse SDS PAGE - (Oct/21/2014 )

Iam working on mesenchymal cell line and I have done a Co-IP for a target protein. Do I have to run the protein on native gel or can I do it using SDS-PAGE. Is there any difference between the two

sds-page should cause the ab-ag complex to come apart. with native page the complex should remain intact.

sds (along with reducing agent) will denature the proteins and break up complexes.

so, in answer to your question, it depends on what you want to show with the gel.
