wet chamber for ISH - (Jan/09/2012 )

Hello everybody,
our lab performs in situ hybridizations on early mouse embryo (E.6.5-7.5) sections. Actually, we get quite nice results, however, our major problem is that sometimes our glass slides dry out when we incubate our probes over night in our self made wet chambers in the hybridization oven (68°C). If anyone has a simple and cheap solution we would be very grateful.

Best,

Plastic zip lock bag?

I like your idea. I will give it a try and reply after my next experiment.
Thanks in advance.

How about a Clik Clak box or perhaps using square petri dishes sealed with parafilm?

Use PAP pen and cover with Parafilm...

My favourite is this one:

but not really cheap :(
