How long can IF slide be stored at -20℃? - (Jan/23/2011 )

Hi, everyone!

I just finished double IF staining of mouse brain cryo-sections several days ago. Since I will take leave for about a month, I want to store those sections at -20℃ untill I come back to work. Now I just want to ask how long can those sections be stored at -20℃ without obvious loss of flurescent intensity?
I am quite sure the intensity of fluenrescent should be OK for 1-2 weeks stored at -20℃, but how about a month?
If you have any experience on this before, why not share it with me. Thank you so much for your kindly help!

They should be fine for at least a month so long as they do not dry out. Seal the edges of the coverslips with nail polish to prevent drying out.
