question about the two kits for soutern bltting - (Jun/01/2010 )

Did anyone compare the two kits for southern blotting (DIG-High Prime DNA Labeling and Detection Starter Kit II from Roche and North2South Complete from Pierce) ? It is my first time to do southern blotting and a little confused about the kit choosing. Can anyone give some advice just depending on your own experience. Thanks

I have used the Roche kit to do my Southern blots and they seem to work fine. Easy and reproducible. I also used the Amersham (GE healthcare) southern kit which never seemed to work. Hope that helps
