I am looking for a good working protocal or kit for using FITC/oregon green secondary antibody on paraffin sections of paraformaldehyde fixed tissue. I am getting lots of background.

There are a number of possibilities (Many of which you have probably already tried):1) Are you using too much primary ab2) Too much secondary ab or too long.3) Have you tried ommitting the secondary and checking background? This will let you know if it is the primary or secondary that is giving you the background.4) Incubate the sections in a solution using serum from the animal the secondary was made in.5) I have tried some other other green FITC/Oregon green range secondaries that I can recommend to you.
