beta actin - loading control (Sep/07/2009 )

Hi,

Why can beta actin only be used as a loadig control for cytoplasmic or whoe cell lysate proteins but not as a loading control for nuclear proteins?

Because there is very little beta actin in the nucleus (this is up for debate of course!)
